For Your Wooden Wick Candles from Love. Health. Bliss.
Each candle we pour is made with intention, purity, and love — and with a little care, you can enjoy its full glow and fragrance safely and beautifully. Here's how to tend to your wooden wick candle:
1. First Burn = Most Important
Let your candle create a full melt pool (wax melted edge to edge) the first time you light it. This helps prevent tunneling and sets the memory for even burning.
Tip: For the 5oz metal tin jar burn 1 - 1 1/2 hours the first time.
For the 12 oz glass jar burn approximately 3 hours the first time.
2. Trim Your Wick Before Each Burn
Before relighting, gently trim your wooden wick to about 1/4” using a wick trimmer, nail clipper, or even by pinching off the burnt wood.
This ensures a clean flame and prevents excessive flickering or soot.
Untrimmed wicks may cause the flame to go out prematurely.
3. Trim Your Wick Before Each Burn
Always burn on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts, curtains, pets and anything flammable.
4. Trim Your Wick Before Each Burn
Wooden wicks offer a soft, soothing crackle — like a mini fireplace for your soul. Each sound is part of the experience. If your flame ever struggles, blow it out, let it cool, trim the wick, and relight with care.
5. Let Your Light Shine
Candles are more than ambiance — they’re a reminder of light in darkness, a spark of hope, and a sacred moment of stillness. May each burn inspire peace, prayer, and purpose in your day.
